Friday, February 18, 2005 ( new year pms @ 10:25 PM ) Sigh.. it must be the new year.. found it so hard to pass thru this week.. seems to be rottin my life away.luckily today i did sth interesting..hehe was involved in some visit by 65 korean teachers from Korea...quite interesting....the assi. head in my department gave the welcome presentation and he had to speak slow so tt the translator can translate what he said.. and there was 2 translators..one sounded like he debating...but of cus i dunno what they were gibbering abt...ahhaha..but den again...these korean guys are such a dissapointment....where Peh Yong Jing?? haha.. oh yar, due to time constraint we had to cut short the presentation ( wel.. the korean translators were not good ar...seems rather naggy in their translation...)..and so it was the reception...haha..these korean ppl are really funny..as i was wif another colleague who is an Indian and she was in her traditional costume - a beautiful sari....all the koreans came and ask her to tk pic wif them...haha....i named her 'Korea Idol'..haha... it was really hilarious as everyone kept comin forward and ask to tk pic wif her...and of cus... she was so 'pissed off' she had to drag mi along to suffer too....haha...i should haf worn a cheongsam rite..hahah .. too bad i was in my most formal attire....... shirt/pants/blazer.. there was quite alot of leftover from the reception so we transported them back into our pantry...haha...took some home for makan too...yummy yummy....think i'l get fat at NIE sooner or later.....shit~~ comin mon will be goin for department lunch wif my colleagues cus apparently our department received a sum of cash prizes for being the most participative department in eh....can't remember wat....but the cash is ard 4hundreds plus... hope to LOI HEI and haf a great lunch...haha sigh...heard nxt wed there wil be visit from SAF...hmm...dunno if it's some handsome hunks ma?? wat ever it is, i wun be able to go cus my 'ex-company' aka 'orange julius' haf got tis CNY function at Sheraton Hotel and my ex-supervisor ask mi to go.wel...not cus she love me but cus she haf nominated me to join in the ktv competition which is part of the function...heard the cash prizes are rather attractive....hahaha......thus i haf obtained permission (which means DAY OFF) to not come work and can go try my luck~~~ haha..... kk..hope to hear from u and many others soon k...tk care all my frens~~ 0 comments |
