From the carefree poly life to the pressurized working society now So many so many things happened between us So much so that I always feel that we are caught in our own complicated drama shows We have our down times and of course our happy times Remembered I did a ad-hoc quiz with you 2 -3 years ago I asked if you remembered when our first kiss was You surprised me by giving me the exact answer as what I had I thought guys never make an effort to remember such thing I’m glad I don’t remember when our first quarrel was or what it was about Do you? I thought unhappy memories are harder to remove than happy ones I know we had many mini squabbles and some really nonsense quarrels I’m certainly not hoping for more to come but I’m sure a few are inevitable I hope we can be more open with each other and not pretend there’s nothing and it’s ok I’ve come to realise that trust and understanding is very important in a relationship Maybe love is like the stock market It’s volatile and not easy to predict Fundamentals are very important but so is technical analysis We need to know when to give in and when to hold on There are times we take risk and make a gamble If we are lucky, we’ll win If not, hide away and wait for your courage to come back before trying again Or will you move on and try again? Love is indeed not an easy art to master I don’t know much about love but I know it’s you There was once you fell asleep lying on my lap As I sat there watching you sleep I felt very fortunate and I think that's love I hope we can be the each other's 1st person to see when we wake up from sleep I look forward to preparing the most important meal of the day for you everyday I want you to give me a goodnight kiss on my forehead everynight I request for a hug from you whenever I am feeling upset I promise I'll hug you back too even if I'm mad at you It's only 5 years since we got together We still have alot to learn and alot to love I'm really glad that it's you I'm in love with and I hope you feel the same too Dear, Thank you for loving me. Finally they are coming to Singapore! I'm really kinda interested to go but the concert is on 18 Jul and my company's inaugural event is also on that day! How to go....? Hope they add another day... but then it's not cheap and who can i ask to go with me.... I really think they ARE the superband. Mood's Playing: 縱貫線''s 亡命之徒 0 comments Monday, May 25, 2009 ( Plants VS Zombies @ 2:20 PM ) Yesterday me and my dear spent 4 hrs sitting in front of the computer playing this game called "Plants VS Zombies". A group of zombies are trying to attack and come into my house and we're supposed to plant the many types of plants to defend off and kill the zombies. The game is simple and and cute cus the plants are all very cute! Esp. the mushrooms series! Haha... We didn't complete the game cus it was already 7pm by the time we played about 30 stages... think we will continue to complete it on weekend. =)  Oh ya, there are all sorts of interesting zombies too! Mood's Playing: aiLin - Wo Hai Shi Bu Dong 0 comments Saturday, May 16, 2009 ( sunday movie sat watch @ 10:59 PM ) I told him "let's go catch Angels & Demons this sat @ The Cathay" and he said "Ok". He bought the tix online and so we planned our Sat date. Sat came and we went over to The Cathey to collect the tix. He passed his credit card to the counter girl and she gave us the tix. 4.20pm. We decided to go into the cinema earlier though the show was only supposed to start at 4.40pm. I passed the tix to the staff who was in charge of checking our tix and he took it and tear off the sides and then passed the tix back to us. We strolled into the cinema and realised that we were really early as we were the 3rd and 4th person in the cinema. He told me he booked the special seats i.e couple seats and so we looked for our seats and happily sinked into the seats. The show started on time but the audience were slow to enter. Perhaps most of them thought that most cinemas don't start on time thus didn't made any effort to come in early. The show was going for almost 20mins+ when seats in our row started to fill up. This was when the off-screen drama was about to begin. Two ladies came in to the cinema, headed for our row and begin to ask if the seats beside us were wrongly taken up. Well, nope. The guys got their seats correctly. So they asked if WE took their seats by mistake. We took out our tix and said "No, our seats are _09 & _10." The guys related our replies to the ladies. The 2 ladies were baffled as their tix were also _09 & _10. They made some comments and then went out of the cinema. Moments later. They returned with one of the cinema staff and asked for our tix again. This time round, he was quite annoyed so he went out of the cinema with them to sort it out. He returned shortly and told me that the cinema had made some mistake because there this grp of ppl who made grp booking for that row and apparently the system corked up so we managed to book our tix as well. But since we came first and have paid for the tix, let's just continue with our show. Alas, minutes later, the staff returned again asking for our tix and he decided to go out again to trash it out with them. When he next returned back to the cinema, he told me to take my bag and get out of the cinema with him. This was when I finally realised what was going on.... Apparently our tix was for the same movie, same timing BUT on SUNDAY and NOT SATURADAY! The person who booked the movie somehow booked the wrong date though he strongly feel that he did saw the correct date when he made the booking! Anyhow, after much 'investigation', yes, our tix were for Sun and not Sat... Of cus, there's no way I'm (or maybe we) gg to admit that it's our full fault cus shouldn't the staff at the check point realised our tix were for the wrong date and stop us from entering the cinema then? This way, we wouldn't have sat on someone else's seats and we wouldn't have wasted almost 45mins on the show that we couldn't finished and we wouldn't have wasted our money! Well well... thank goodness the mgr was very nice and understanding so he gave us a pair of complimentary pass so that we can use it for our next movie. Needless to say, I quickly pulled him out of the building and we decided to venture away from the area in case we see those people in the cinema and make ourselves so ma lu.... Oh ya, it was also very paiseh for me cus at one point when he was out of the cinema negotiating with the staff, the guy seating beside me actually tried to explain & apologise to me that the cinema made a mistake becus of some double booking problem and thus creating so much inconveniences. OMG! I hope he'll nv find out the truth of this incident cus I think if he does, he's so going to KP me... Btw, to protect the 'face' of the main culprit of the above embarassing episode, i've did not named him here. haha... ;p On a happier note (actually the above was really hilarious and i think i can tease him for some time on that.. haha), we went to esplanade to catch some free performances at the outdoor theatre and there were 2 kids who created so much entertainment for me! The band was playing really rock and hard on stage and the two little boys who obviously do not know each other (one was i think french and another chinese) started to dance to the music and each of them were pretending to be the drummer & the guitarist! Oh my, they were really very cute and it was such a funny sight to see them 'drumming' and 'strumming' with the music! Too bad i didn't video them down! What a day it has been today... =) Mood's playing: Wonder Girls' Nobody 0 comments Wednesday, May 13, 2009 ( SSO - Faust @ 10:46 AM ) I went for a ‘high-class’ concert on the 1st Sat of May with Eik Chyun and Ant. The tix were proudly sponsored by our bride-to-be aka Eik Chyun. Apparently it was supposed to be her hubby and his bro who were supposed to go with her but due to some poor planning, me and ant had the honor to replace them instead. =) The concert was titled “Faust” and was performed by Singapore Symphony Orchestra together with Singapore Symphony Chorus, Singapore Bible College Chorale, Hallelujah Chorus, Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir & 4 other vocalists, each performing their role as a mezzo-soprano, tenor, bass & bass-baritone. It was really an interesting experience for me cus I’ll never expect myself to buy tickets for such concert and I had actually thought that I would sleep through the concert. Our dear sponsor didn’t really tell us what the concert was about and I only knew it was some SSO thingy so I thought it would be rather bored (though I was from Chinese orchestra but I think if you want me to sit through a 3hr concert listening to symphony, I’ll fall asleep lo!) but thankful that there were some choir and of course the vocalists were also entertaining because they were not just singing but they were like using their singing to act out the show and of course with the compliments of some actions and facial expression! There were some really funny parts which made the 3 of us laugh and of course we also saw a few other weird ppl who actually sleep throughout the show…. Tried to take some photos but we weren’t allowed to do so within the hall… but still ant did tried to snap a few la.. haha.. all photos are with the other 2 ladies so waiting for them to update their blogs… Fast forward. My bro finally entered NS! Too bad I couldn’t go with him to Tekong…. Really want to see how tekong looks like.. haha.. he came home last fri after his 2 weeks confinement. Ok la. I could get used to his botak head and abit tanned skin. Din really see him much cus most of the time he was out with his gf and I was out with my bf. Haha….reminds of ‘my’ NS days with dear dear…lol was really tempted to go for the AQH auditions but alas the slots for 11 May were all taken up and the next available date is on 20th May and very 'lucky' me has got to work on that day due to some event so i guess it's fated that I shouldn't go for the auditions. Anyway, i had fun practising with dear for the auditions... it's been so long since he really played the guitar and i sang.... =) i hope we can do this more often. Pighead!
