Tuesday, September 05, 2006 ( delayed posting @ 1:05 PM ) my dear has turned 23 already...gosh...so old le... haha.. oOps... i had everything planned out for his big day but alas the rain spoiled everything... we met for mac breakfast at Tiong Bahru Plaza and then to UOB to open an account (note: it's my personal acct. not joint). Then we headed down to Harbour Front. Needless to say, I'm sure by this time u guys should know tt we are going to SENTOSA! However, it was a bad day. The rain started early in the morning and was so hardworkkin that it did not really stop to tk a rest.. =( Despite tt, we still very garang and took the bus in to Sentosa. He wanted to go in by cable car but there's no way i'm gg in in the rain in those seeming unsafe wired dangling cars.. =x felt like we were tourists in Sentosa cus we were flippin the map and tryin to decide which color bus to take. went to underwater world and then to dolphin lagoon but cus of the rain the dolphin 'refused' to meet us. Instead of getting smaller, the rain turned fiercer and heavier. Poor dear and I was like stranded on an island...but we got to see the mini 'waterfall' in Sentosa... haha... next destination was the 4D Magix Theatre where we had a very sensation and exciting 4D movie. Felt as if i was at the scene as all our senses was triggered by the special effects...water splashing, winds blowing and smell of flowers... the rain was a spoiler so we left Sentosa after tt and decided to go Bugis. Didn't really had lunch as the Mac breakfast was still in our stomach but we had taco pachi and the famous jap green tea ice cream for hmm... high tea... the green tea ice cream was great..yummy and the best part is tt, I dun feel guilty eating it.. haha...=x we walked over to Suntec and dear wanted to eat steamboat-style dinner cus the weather was cold and it's best to hurdle around the steamboat. So finally, I made a constructive option to go to the steamboat buffet at the Suntec Convention Level 1. We had walked past there several times and wanted to try it but never, so tt day was finally the chance. The food was so so and I didn't dare to eat much cus i v fat already.. =x i made ice kachang for dear but he kept scoldin me for tkin alot of food and not eating them.. haha...oh yar, i made a cheese cake for dear as his bday cake.. thou he couldn't tell it's cheesecake but i think i scored points for the effort and packaging.. =) dear's 23 le.. hope he will find a job soon and earn money and marry me .. =) happy belated birthday dear. i love you!  ~love is in the air~ 0 comments |
