Monday, February 05, 2007 ( can't dance.... @ 2:03 PM ) Have alot to blog but dunn0 where to start... maybe i should just trace back to last fri when I met up with my great sec sch buddy - Chloe Tan Yi Zhen! and of course with Sutee as well =) 26 Jan 2007 Went to meet Sutee at City Hall and waited for Chloe to appear. We headed down to Marine Square and look thru the directory to decide on the dinning place. Finally settled on Genki Sushi cus Sutee said she gt discount (haha...). Chloe arrived shortly and the 3 girls begin to 'set up their stall' and start the 'market'... (you know la...we are the 3 Gu 6 Po...) A word of caution, DON'T go genki sushi if you really wan to eat nice sushi or rather value for money sushi..i think their food is not fresh and the quality is questionnable...wel..maybe just the outlet at marine square but i doubt i will ever step into another genki.. And so, the 3 chatterboxes rattled on from 7pm to about 9pm plus.. Chloe inital idea was to go to Clarke Quay and chill out and maybe go MOS but Sutee's nt interested and i was rather moodless for MOS so we decided that we will just go for the chill out..Chloe suggested to tk cab down since it was so near and since she mentioned she will foot the bill, why not? haha... >_- but then, we waited for almost an hr still there was no taxi... we saw countless taxis (with no passengers!) passing by us and not one of them have any intentions to stop by and pick us up! Kaoz... I really dun understand what's the problem with these taxis.. I thought they were complaining of lousy business and what happen when we try to give them some money to earn...Bet they were waiting for impatient ppl to call up and earn tt extra S$2 or issnt S$3 of booking fee... damn it.. anyway, Ms Chloe was sayin if Clarke Quay is within walking distance and since I sort of kn0w the direction, we decided to put our legs to good use instead. Sutee was feeling tired and hence she left for home first. the 2 of us walked all the way from esplanade to clarke quay and Chloe met her colleague cus she needed to pass sth to Chloe. Saw the new bar - The Clinic. Just wondering who will wan to go to such a place to unwind and chill out... Maybe I'm too pantang but come'on...it's all the medical beds and surgical stuffs and also the mortuary! Maybe I will go there once for the novelty but still the thot of steppin in is errie... been a long time since I went clubbing.. nt tt i'm an avid clubber cus I obviously don't drink. I just like to dance...haha.but drinkin abit does help you to feel more 'high' =) been wanting to check out St James but haven find the time/mood and friends... Back to Chloe and I.. we went to TCC and continued to reminisce the past and update each other's life. It was really a great to be able to laugh at our past (those home econs lessons...maths lessons etc..) and tease at our present..can't help but feel tt age is catchin up on us and how much all of us have grown up.. sigh..but then, i guess we are still very much young at heart.. (oh my.. i'm speaking as if I'm already 50plus or 60plus.....) went back ard 2am. was tired but really enjoyed myself. Chloe's gg to Dubai and will be back on thur so maybe will arrange for another meet up session... 1 Feb 2007 It's Joe (aka my kor) 24th birthday! Happy Birthday Kor! 3 Feb 2007 Laid in bed for almost the whole day cus was down with fever and flu.. couldn't go for my dance and singing... sigh...heard from my dance mates that Xiao Ke taught quite alot of steps... think i'm going to have problem catchin up... good thing about being sick on a weekend is that my dear will come and be my 'nurse'. =) sad news is that I had planned to go shopping but becos of my fever, I had to push back the plan... 4 Feb 2007 Couldn't go for my MTV dance cus I was still feeling sick. Was better but no energy to dance hence no choice but to skip the class.. it was a boring day and guess what, Darren has emerged as the overall winner for PSS. See.. I was right.. Though I would love to see Diya winning the title but I just feel tt Darren will get it.. Ok. I think it's time to stop all these reality programs...and did i hear tt campus superstar is comming back..... ~it's a vicious cycle~ 0 comments |
