Tuesday, September 04, 2007 ( Happy Birthday Dear! @ 2:56 PM ) Went down to Comex @ Suntec on Thurs. Dear drove me there but the traffic was really bad and we were like stuck in the carpark for half an hour...! Btw, Dear is a very bad tempered guy when he taking the wheels. He can curse and swear at the other drivers on the road and made me soo worried if he will anyhow drive. Sometimes, i rather we take public transport... =X But in any case, he is still a very much safer driver than his brother.. his brother is more like a racer.. hAHA.... Here's a picture of my darling in the car.... obviously he is a street idiot when he is driving. But thank goddness he is blessed with me cus I was his 'GPS' whenever I'm sitting in the car with him.. hAHa...   Fri was Dear's 24th bday! And also Malaysia's National Day. HAha.. anyway, mi went over to dear's place in the early afternoon then we headed out for dinner at The Central (Clarke Quay). We tried the food at The Mahanttan cus we heard ppl saying that it's better than Fish n Co. BUT apparently, things are not what it was supposed to be. We tried the fried seafood for 2 and OMG! It SUX! The prawns were NOT fresh at all.. the fries are like Mac's fries.. The fish tasted no where near Long John Silvers. In fact, I think i would prefer eating at Long John rather than Mahanttan.... what a disappointment! Anyway, dear and I nearly eat till we want to vomit.. yUcks!!!   Anyway, after the yucky dinner, we decided to digest the sinful meal by walking around the mall and along Clarke Quay. The bungee thingy was there and dear was asking me to acompany him on it... I'm sure for those who know me will know that I will DEFINITELY NOT put my butt on it. I admit I'm scare of heights and all rides that involve high speed.. My heart is weak k... See how scary the whole thing looks...    Dear's trying to be a blend-tender...  Dear: "hmmm.. this should do the trick.."  Dear stayed over my place and it was an ordinary bday for him... or so he thought.. =) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sat was a hectic day for me cus it was finally the day for my dear's bday surprise party! I had contacted most of his friends, via sms, frdster or frds' friends and much planning and brain wreacking was done to ensure that the plan was seamless.. I skipped my dance and vocal lesson (w/o dear's knowledge) cus there'll be lotsa of preparation work to be done but alas dear's afternoon appt was cancelled which meant that he will stay at my place till 245pm since he thought I will leave my hse for vocals at tt time as well. Thus, left with no choice I quickly called up Joe to help me 'fix' an appt for dear so that he wun stay at my place... Luckily joe managed to save me and got me out of the fix.... It was a mad rush to buy all the last min stuff and when I got home, I thought my sis would be home to help me but she wasn't. I had to prepare, cook and washed all the food myself! It was 3 packets of been hoon (enough for 20ppl to eat) & a big pot of curry veggie! My perspiration was dripping down my face as I tossed the been hoon lo.. Kaoz... *p/s: don't worry.. none of the sweat went into the food....hmm.. i think so la.. haha... Well.. A big thanks to Sutee's brother, my sis and her bf for helping to carry the stuffs to the car and transporting to Pasir Ris Park. Esp my sis and her bf cus I know that it's not easy to walk to the Pit from the carpark carrying what seems like 10kg of stuff on each hand.. Kudos to both of you! Thanks to Sutee & bro, xiao, anthrea, rodney, jerome, yilin, kai ge, junfeng, nan hua guys, joe, eddie, dear's bro & some lfi ppl for turning up. Special credits to Sutee, sutee's bro and Anthrea for helping to coordinate everything. The party couldn't have gone on smoothly without you guys. Thanks to xiao for being a 'traitor' and coming over as well =)        my ngee ann kakis!  me & xiao s (anthrea)  jerome & rodney    As usual, sutee is always the one helping to cut cake..  I love you dear and Happy birthday! -------------------------------------------------------------------- As expected, I didn't turn up for Choon Hui's MTV lesson at Keck Seng on Sun cus I was exhausted. But I headed down to Ngee Ann City to meet up with my sis cus we had signed up for the Amore Women Work Out thingy. We signed up the the Dance Beat event which is supposed to take place from 2pm - 4pm. Actually, our main motive was to get the goodie bag.. haha... Hey! The bag is really not bad and the g00dies inside are not cheapo stuff also k..   My sis and I only managed to move our bodies for 1hr and we decided to stop sweating and grab the goodies bag and siam.. Dear came to pick us up at Cineleisure and drove my sis to her bf's place before heading back to my place and rest. Gosh.. I din expect to blog so long but I did.. haha... Ok. hope the next entry wouldn't lapse too far from this... ~adjust your mentality or you'll never grow up...~ 0 comments |
