Friday, September 26, 2008 ( Last Post for Sep 2008 @ 11:20 PM ) Backtrack abit, celebrated my xiaogu's bday with my siblings and dear last Sun. My elder bro treated us to his cafe (aka Settlers) at Clarke Quay and we really had great fun! He wanted to let us have the new VIP room but due to some unforeseen circumtances, we made do with the sofas in the 'living room'. We played alot of games which I've never played b4 though I went there several times. My brother also gave all of us a HUGE surprise that night. He ordered a HUGE but very delicious and yummy bowl of vanilla ice-cream topped with mini pieces of hot chocolate brownies and just when we thought it was the end, he got the staff to bring out another GIGANTIC JUG of root bear float! By the way, did i mentioned that all of us had our dinner before going to Settlers and we even gobbled up the fingers food which consist mainly of fried food such as sotong balls, chicken wings, nuggets and cuttlefish strips. I think i must have put on a few more kilos of fats that night! But then.... the food was really nice. If i ever go there again, i must get my friends to order the vanilla ice-cream with the brownies! It's really a killer sia! hmmm.. . wait a min, i forgot to check if the milk was from China... =X I would love to add some photos to this blog but my sis aka the camera girl has yet to upload the photos and send them to me. It helps to keep me motivated cus I always look up to those good dancers with great showmanship. My own audition is coming too but i'm really worried. My new office desk is already in a mess. Seeing it reminds me of the current stock market that is so messy as well… But at least time passes quickly for me and the good thing is that I don’t find myself dragging my body out of the bed to work every morning which is a good sign… a sign that I’m am enjoying my work.. *smirk* Haben been able to go for dance classes due to my work and I feel really fat and lousy and de-proved…I just renewed a new package but I think I’ll waste the money for the 1st month cus I doubt I’ll be able to attend classes often. I better make it up when I’m less tight down with work! Ohhh! I wrote a lyrics out the other day and sent it to Bev cus she mentioned that Replugged was going to have some showcase or sort. Not wanting to miss out anything, I actually managed to squeeze out something over the next few days and I must say I’m pretty proud of my accomplishment…even Bev complimented that it was not too bad sia… hee. Hopefully she can find someone to compose the melody for the lyrics. I would love to hear my lyrics come alive… =) Ok. I don’t think I can afford to type any longer cus I need to get back to work. I do click to my blog everyday. =) Mood’s Playing: Jay Chou’s “牛仔很忙” 0 comments Wednesday, September 03, 2008 ( Updates!! @ 2:00 PM ) FJCK (Fion / Jenielle / Chayenne / Krist) is going to try our luck at the Danz People competition… I’m really just trying my luck… previously joanna asked me to join the Code Edge comps but I rejected due to the tight time. This time round, since the competition will be at a later date, so I convinced myself to give it a try…hope everything will turn out ok… I have a lot of thoughts running in me these days… felt like penning them down into songs but I didn’t cus I just wasn’t at the right place and time to have the right instruments to record them down. I miss my singing days as well I guess… Music is still a very big part of my life. It’s like the coffee that I drink every morning without fail. I can’t live without it. I thought of writing a song titled “translation”. There are times in life when you realized that even if the person is speaking the same language to you, you still don’t get what he/she is saying. He might be the closest person to you but you just find it hard to understand what he is trying to bring across. It really hurts cus you realized things are not the same as before and how you wish you could learn his ‘language’ and communicate with him. I guess many of us come across such different phases in life where you need a translator in order to keep the communication going on. They say love crosses all boundaries; language, age, race, religion etc, I guess understanding and accepting is really what keep the love burning… Random thoughts.
