From the carefree poly life to the pressurized working society now So many so many things happened between us So much so that I always feel that we are caught in our own complicated drama shows We have our down times and of course our happy times Remembered I did a ad-hoc quiz with you 2 -3 years ago I asked if you remembered when our first kiss was You surprised me by giving me the exact answer as what I had I thought guys never make an effort to remember such thing I’m glad I don’t remember when our first quarrel was or what it was about Do you? I thought unhappy memories are harder to remove than happy ones I know we had many mini squabbles and some really nonsense quarrels I’m certainly not hoping for more to come but I’m sure a few are inevitable I hope we can be more open with each other and not pretend there’s nothing and it’s ok I’ve come to realise that trust and understanding is very important in a relationship Maybe love is like the stock market It’s volatile and not easy to predict Fundamentals are very important but so is technical analysis We need to know when to give in and when to hold on There are times we take risk and make a gamble If we are lucky, we’ll win If not, hide away and wait for your courage to come back before trying again Or will you move on and try again? Love is indeed not an easy art to master I don’t know much about love but I know it’s you There was once you fell asleep lying on my lap As I sat there watching you sleep I felt very fortunate and I think that's love I hope we can be the each other's 1st person to see when we wake up from sleep I look forward to preparing the most important meal of the day for you everyday I want you to give me a goodnight kiss on my forehead everynight I request for a hug from you whenever I am feeling upset I promise I'll hug you back too even if I'm mad at you It's only 5 years since we got together We still have alot to learn and alot to love I'm really glad that it's you I'm in love with and I hope you feel the same too Dear, Thank you for loving me.
