Wednesday, June 10, 2009 ( post bday post @ 11:40 AM ) Today is exactly 1 week after my birthday. I hope you guys are keen to find out how I spent that special day. =) I took half day off from work and went to meet my dearest one and only darling! He was bringing me to Kallang to ice-skate! (er.. fine, I was the one who suggested to go skating…) Anyway, we took the shuttle bus from Kallang station to the new Kallang entertainment center. It was a weekday so the place was pretty much like a dead town… we had our lunch at the food court and the serving of the food was humongous! Left both of us feeling very bloated after that. We went up to the ice-skating place and were initially kinda ‘petrified’ to go in cus there were like quite a few not-too-bad skaters around and we were not so sure if we really want to ma lu ourselves… I even thought of “why not we just catch a movie and skip the ice-skating part…” Lol Anyway, we managed to pluck up our courage and went into the skating rig! Mi in the shuttle bus cam-whoring! (only mi & dear in the bus with the driver.. haha..)   He kept playing with my gloves... i got this gloves when i was in sec? or was it poly time...?  Yea! We are going skating~~  Dear trying to tie his laces..  Tada! The skating ring~  Surfacing of ice at 4pm....vroom vroom~ while waiting for the surfacing of ice...dear said my hands look small.. yes.. i think they are short and fat...  this is supposed to be some very nice pic but somhow the gloves made it look comical...i keep thinking we are some durian sellers... haha  This is my ice skating shoes! Dear trying to act cool and balance...  Yea! I'm a better skater than him... haha  Happy birthday to me! haha  this is what my dear gave me for my bday present! haha.. i told him before i like kinder surprise.. haha  Our dinner @ Soup Spoon. Both of us were still rather full so we share our food..  Next surprise! My REAL bday present! Can you guess what it is...?  me: "hmm.. wondering what he bought for me..?" him: "hmm.. she look so silly i dun think she can guess it..."  . . . . . . . . . . Tadaaa! It's Samsung OMNIA!!!! Thank you dear!  Post bday.. i had a hard time getting used to OMNIA cus it's a window OS phone... but now i'm starting to love it cus i can download alot of games! hahaha... oOps...
