Monday, November 16, 2009 ( Digital Harinezumi @ 3:45 PM ) Pictures taken quite some time back... my mum bought the massaging thingy from OTO and I got Tigger to model for it... hee...   He sure looks happy with it.. haha  Next up... my new toy! my Digital Harinezumi aka Zumi. Zumi is a 2-megapixel Digital camea that produces pictures with a soft, out-of-focus feel. The colors emulate that of Lomo shooters--often quirky and sometimes unsaturated. Although this snapper has an LCD screen, shutterbugs won't be able to use it to frame shots. Instead, the firm has incorporated a plastic viewfinder on top of the camera for that purpose. As for the display, it is reserved for viewing pictures only. Lomography? Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, "happy accidents," and alternative film processing are often considered part of the "Lomographic Technique."Users are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to their photography, and use these techniques to document everyday life The 10 Golden Rules of Lomography 01 : Take your LOMO with you EVERYWHERE you go 02 : Use it all the time, every time DAY AND NIGHT 03 : LOMO does not interfere with YOUR LIFE, it's part of it 04 : Get as CLOSE as possible to the objects of your Lomographic desire 05 : Don't think 06 : Be quick 07 : You don't have to know what you're shooting 08 : You don't have to recognize what you've shot 09 : Shoot from the hip and over your head 10 : Don't worry about rules Here's my few attempts using Zumi...  Taken off the table top in MacDonald's Using sparkle jelly lens... my yummylicous looking yong tau foo our weekend outing at the Singapore Flyer.... micro zoom in... I think my dear looks cool in this pic...  red flower... very vibrant colors!  water droplets on the leaf... A few more of the here & there pictures...LOMO ON~      I'm really addicted to my Zumi and have been snapping it really often that i don't really have time to hold my dear's hand.. haha... but it's really addictive..esp when you fail to get nice pics.. u'll try to do it a few more times.. but if the pic turns out really cool, you'll be greatly encouraged! =) And because you can't do any focusing or angling... you'll really be surprised by the pictures taken!
